- Over the past three years, we have reduced 625kg CO2e by switching to paperless.
- 100% of our site vehicles are electric.
- We introduced “Environmental Champions” to our sites. Our team help us achieve our environmental targets and goals by advising colleagues on different measures we can take, hosting workshops and promoting sustainable initiatives.
- We actively encourage and support all our teams to take advantage of bike-to-work programmes and travel savings schemes.
Leading the Way in Sustainable Security
To reach our environmental goals, we are innovating across our entire company. We focus our impacts on the three pillars of sustainability:
- Social Impact
- Economic Impact
- Environmental Impact
How do we do this?
- All of our electronic waste from outdated security technologies is recycled.
- We adopt eco-friendly practices, such as the use of renewable energy sources to power security systems across our sites.
- We’re working towards achieving the ISO 14001:2015 certification and look forward to achieving this in 2024.
Corporate Social Sustainability
Corporate Social Responsibility is an integral part of life at Provincial, we place significant importance on helping the communities where our team members live and work. We have developed relationships with a number of charities and sponsored key events across the country. Our team members play an integral part in our CSR and sustainability strategy, leading the way with fundraising initiatives and events.
Take a look at a few of our Highlights:
HELL AND BACK

For the past two years, our sites have taken part in the ultimate challenge: Hell and Back. Set in the against the stunning backdrop of Kilruddy estate, the event sees participants must cross rivers and forests, climb hills and mountains and crawl through bogs and swamps. Competitors must also navigate an array of daunting man-made obstacles, weaving their way over, under, around, and through each one.
But it's not just about the physical challenge. Our team’s dedication and spirit have shone through, raising nearly €4,000 for incredible local charities: Sheriff Youth Centre, NIC Side by Side, and St. Andrew’s Resource Centre. Every step, climb, and crawl has been driven by our commitment to supporting these vital community resources.
HIKE IN AID OF AWARE

Driven by a passion for the outdoors and a vision to foster team unity, Anthony Lennon, a long-time Provincial employee, launched an exciting series of summer hikes. His goal was simple: to encourage his colleagues to step out of the office and immerse themselves in nature, all while promoting men's mental health and environmental awareness.
Anthony's initiative not only brought the team closer together but also made a significant impact. Together, they raised an impressive €2,000 for Aware, demonstrating the powerful combination of camaraderie, physical activity, and a shared mission.
Through these hikes, Anthony and his team showed that sometimes, the best way to make a difference is to take a step outside.
