Provincial Security announce senior appointments
We are delighted to announce two new appointments to our senior management team, Carmel Moran and Anthea Lalor.
Carmel Moran, Director of Operations
Carmel Moran joined Provincial on a part-time basis in 2015 and was appointed as Operations Manager in 2017, where she looked after training, compliance and some of the recruitment. Carmel began her career in the Defence Forces and spent twenty-four years working in areas such as training, operations and logistics and on multi-national teams overseas in Lebanon, the former Yugoslavia and Kosovo in both training and operational roles.
Commenting on her appointment as Director of Operations, Carmel said,
“In my new role, I will work closely with the Site Security Managers and look at ways of strengthening our teams through professional development as well as finding new and innovative ways to continually improve our service delivery. We in head office recognise how valuable each and every member of the team are, and we look forward to working with them over the coming year and striving to be the best we can be!”
Anthea Lalor, HR Director
Anthea Lalor is an HR professional with over fifteen years of experience in Human Resources, having first joined Provincial as HR Manager. Before joining Provincial five years ago, Anthea worked in HR and training in the hotel, financial services and pharmaceutical industries. Previous to that she worked on HR projects specialising in people policies, culture, payroll and absence management.
Anthea, HR Director, said,
“When I joined Provincial, Stephen and Carmel showed me the ropes, and they were busy with Operations. The team was less than 200 at that point, so it’s been a huge growth for the business and our HQ team with building new teams on new sites and the ever-changing on existing sites.”
She added,
“My new role will involve oversight of the HR function, driving projects aligned to our strategy and ensuring a people approach in all we do. We have a great team and are looking forward to an exciting year to continue improving all that we do. I also hope to get out and about (now we hopefully can again) to meet employees face to face.”
